We quickly tumbled through the 4th quarter, as Halloween preparations
rapidly became those of the Christmas holiday. In October we had a
fine Awards banquet, with special honors to our very own Valley 36’s
Theodore (Ted) Hasty. But aside from honors, we heaped on the
brotherhood as we brought our families together to give thanks at a
lodge “Friendsgiving” in November that was so epic, it gave the cleanup
crew more work than they cared for. And most importantly, we raised
three new Master Masons in December, swelling both our ranks and our
As we look ahead, we plan to really increase our momentum with a 2019
focus on FUN events to really bring us all together. What better way to
ward of the winter chill than our upcoming Scotch tasting night, where
you’ll get five pours of some of the finest Speyside and Islay on hand.
Or bring the kids along (activities provided) and your appetite to snack
the night away at the Superbowl! In March we will raise our cannons
for a Table Lodge full of corned beef, cabbage and allllll the trimmin’s.

a vibrant, thriving lodge we ARE, and what we can yet be. My hope is
to continue to see the fraternity come together in many ways, to appeal
to all of our members far and near. I am humbled by the vote of
confidence from the fraternity, and dedication from all the Brothers in
the lodge that make these events happen. I hope you see what I see.
